For intranet users
If you are an intranet user, you can configure the server to Integrated Windows authentication and then enable the automatic login.
Select the Remember password option
You can also use Remember password option to remember your username password. Password will be automatically displayed and the application will not ask for the Authentication request. Ensure that your computer is in private trusted environment before using this option.
Leave the application open
To maintain direct editing functionality, you can try leaving the application open after the first access.
Download the files directly to your system
Another way to resolve the authentication request is to download the file directly to your system and then open the files instead of opening it directly from the browser.
Disable Web DAV or the support of the OPTIONS and PROPFIND
If the application is not intended to use Web DAV or the Web Service Extension, the functionality can be prohibited from the default server settings that is running IIS.
