Fix The Junk email filter Outlook 2010 Issues
The Junk email filter Outlook 2010 is to reduce the job of ours by filtering out the emails that the application thinks are junks. But sometimes, there might emails that are actually important categorized as junk and can really get on our nerves! Here’s how to deal with junk, manage it better and how to recover it if you’ve deleted the junk mails from the Junk email filter in Outlook 2010! But remember, you only have the leverage of fourteen days!
- On the Actions Menu, Click on the Junk E-Mail and proceed to click Junk Email Options for Outlook 2007 or click the Home tab on of the ribbon for higher versions like Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 and proceed to choose the Junk E mail box options. The outlook 2010 junk E mail filter dialogue box opens.
- It will ask you to choose one out of the displayed options that show you the various junk E mail options. Please select the level of junk E mail protection you want!
- If at all you feel the need for it, select the list of safe senders, safe recipients, and blocked senders tabs and go ahead to configure or reconfigure it!
Here’s why to do it
These sender’s mails will never be treated as junk, and will not go into the junk folder, ever again! You can choose to key in the mail IDs of those people or the mailer names to add them here.
There are certain times when sent mails are moved to junk as well, and will not happen if at all you choose to add the recipients in the list of safe recipients! Please note that your mail ID shouldn’t be here!
If at you feel a person is spamming, please add them to the list, and none of their mails will be out of the junk folder.
You can always Empty the mails from the Junk folder by clicking the Empty Junk option. But you have a fortnight to recover the mails that you deleted! Please click Tools and go ahead to choose Recover Deleted Items in Outlook 2007 or in Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 to right-click the Junk E-mail folder and select Recover Deleted Items. Your deleted files will be recovered back to your junk Email filter Outlook 2010. To move them from the junk folder to any other folder, you will simply have to right click that mail and do the necessary!
